The PC2MDB™:PC as a cashless
slave device for vending machines
PC2MDB controls existing vending machines controllers (VMC) using a PC RS-232
port. It allows the PC to act as a cashless device. Used with a PC or
Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) communicates with all vending machines MDB
regardless of manufacturer. Serial, Ethernet, or USB interfaces make the
PC2MDB a powerful and flexible way to deploy unique payment systems requiring
a PC or PLC with vending machines
MDB2PC™: Multi-drop bus to RS-232
or USB PC interface
A simple yet powerful way to integrate dollar bill acceptor, coin acceptors,
coin dispensers, credit card readers and cashless devices into PC based
vending applications. The vending industry standard NAMA Multi-Drop Bus (MDB)
may now be interfaced to a PC using the MDB2PC™ The MDB2PC™ allows Coin
Acceptance, Change Dispensing, smart card reader, magnetic swipe, credit card
reader and bill validation all controlled by the PC. Available in RS-232 or
USB version: the MDB2USB. Conforms to all NAMA MDB specification and is
compatible with any MDB compliant vending device. Hardware interface comes
with cables, software, user's guide and source code.
The PC2ASD™:The PC2ASD™ replaces the keypad on a vending machine with a PC based interface. This allows the PC to control the item selection process. It is used in PC controlled vending machine products when it is desirable for the customer to make the item selection using a touch screen or smart phone interface instead of the traditional keypad.
